Entry to Megacon

Each Team will be provided 2 Exibitor badges, you can use these badges to gain entry to the event an hour earlier than other attendees. You will need to purchase atendee badges if you need more than 2 entries, need at least Saturday and Sunday but usually you can get a full pass for only a little more.

Registration and Fees

Registration is $20 per bot for ALL CLASSES. Payable once the entry is accepted. 75% of the Fees will go toward prize pool and the rest to pay for the trophy's, awards, and other supplies. Once you are accepted you can make your payment per robot via BuildersDB.com and the Stripe integration. Robot registration fee payments will be listed as Eyespike Corporation via Stripe integration to this event, these are not related to tickets for megacon. 

The arena is provided by Build Fight Fun Events! and is a standard 8ft by 8ft by 4ft Insect Arena just like at Makerfaire Orlando and other events.

Volunteers

Yes, please!! Robot Ruckus are community events run 100% by volunteers. Anyone who has time to give is welcome to help. There are roles for everyone, robot knowledge is not required. We need as many volunteers as possible to keep the event running. And remember, even a 4 hour shift grants you free entry to Megacon for the day so why not get a behind the scenes experience and free entry!! Reach out to brian@eyespike.com for details

Parking at Megacon

Parking is going to be tricky, Megacon will have over 160,000 attendees between Friday and Sunday! Also, there are at least three other conventions happening this same weekend. Megacon nor Robot Ruckus has anything to do with parking, it is completely out of our control. We suggest, if possible, find a hotel nearby and just use Uber, Lyft, or Taxi to and from the event.

There is additional parking available across the street in parking garage.
