Event Description
Robot Ruckus at Florida Supercon (Miami Beach)
Supercon has added fighting robots to the list of amazing things to see and do. This is event is a tournament and exhibition in one July 9-10 at the Miami Beach Convention Center. Supercon draws a very large crowd that is about to find out how cool fighting robots are!!
$1,000 Prize Purse!! - Supercon was nice enough to kick in some prize money!
The event will run pretty much like any other robot fight but we're also entertainment for the event. Fights are on a schedule giving you a little more time to repair or walk around the Con. Also, since we're the entertainment, teams will receive an allowance of passes to the Con. Let's repeat that, YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PAY TO GET IN. Since we're inside a Con pit space is limited. We have to make sure we have enough bots to fill both days. Teams with multiple and/or interesting bots are preferred.
