Event Description
Same as last time, but hotter and no facemasks.Last Event's Rules We have power in the pits now thanks to the generosity of Electronic Parts Outlet! 1lb and 3lb do a full double elimination tournament. 150 gram does a 3 match group stage and a rumble of tied bots to determine who gets into an 8 bot single elimination tournament to crown the champion.
If you are competing, show up between 9 and 10 AM. You need to be through safety by 11:30. Your bot needs to stop moving when your transmitter is turned off. If you are spectating, we should start fights around 12:00-12:30.
If you want information on a workshop for building a 150 gram bot, contact operations@epohouston.com. The next one is July 31st which is probably already full. After that, workshops are planned for September 18th and October 16th. The next event is set for November 20th.
Entry fees: 150 gram: $10, 1lb: $20, 3lb: $40.
Prizes will be certificates and trophies. If you have questions, ask. I don't learn what to say unless people ask questions. We want you to show up and to be able to compete.
