Event Description
The Tech Fest Live event will take place at the ION Houston. This event is a showcase of technology.
Power will be provided, but you will probably want an extension cord and power strip.
If you are competing, try to show up between 7 AM and 9 AM. Be through safety by 9:30 AM. To pass safety, your bot needs to stop moving when the transmitter is turned off. If your bot doesn't failsafe, ask how to make it work at least two weeks out. You can test your failsafe with just your electronics. This and weight are the things that might stop you from competing.
Entry fees are 150 gram: $10 - Fees can be paid on-site using cash or paypal.
Send me an email if you have any questions. There are 150 gram robot building workshops at Electronic Parts Outlet scheduled for 27-Aug and 08-Oct if you want to build a bot but are unsure how.
We will be offering Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place finishers.
