We will keep you updated as to any further changes, but as of now, Robot Rebellion 4.1 is canceled. Please do not come to the venue on March 14. Robot Rebellion 4.1 brings you a fun and competitive start to the Texas robot combat season! Fairyweights, Antweights, and Beetleweights alike compete for the Texas Insect championship, the most prestigious title offered in the field of Texas combat robotics. Will the current champions maintain their Robot Rebellion gold, or will new blood claim the titles this time around? The place: Lincoln College of Technology 2915 Alouette Dr Grand Prairie, TX 75052 We should have tables set up for you, along with chairs and a place to plug in, but do bring an extension cord just in case. The arena is 6x6ft with a single open pit in the corner. NOTE: Matches for this event will be 2 minutes in all weight classes instead of the 3 minutes of previous events. The price: $20 for Fairyweights/UK Antweights $25 for Antweights $30 for Beetleweights $5 discount on all entry fees if you join TRC as a member. The prize: Custom trophies for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in all weight classes Cash and electronic prizes from our sponsors Poker chip pogs for every win The time: March 14, 2020 - this is a one day event. Check-in proper will be from 9am to 11am. Safety meeting will begin at 11:30am. Fights will start at noon and continue until all weight classes are done - we expect 5-6pm for a finish time, but it may go later. The tournament: Tournament structure depends on the number of participants. 5 or less robots in a weight class will fight in a round robin tournament. 6 or more robots will fight in a double elimination tournament.
