NERC Franklin Institute 2019

Event Description

The Franklin Institute Science Museum NERC present the 12th annual robot event on Saturday, October 5, 2019. Weightclasses include 3lb Combat 30lb Sportsmans. There will NOT be 1lb, 12lb, or 30lb full combat classes. Please note that Lithium Polymer (LiPo) batteries are NOT allowed in 30lb bots at this event. LiFe / A123 batteries are allowed. Registration fee for all classes is $40 per bot. Registration fees are non-refundable. Please review current Sportsman class rules: http://www.nerc.us/rules.html Matches will take place in a 16x16 wooden floored arena. Schedule: Arrive by 7AM. Matches will continue until we are done at approximately 6PM. The first registration period opens between 8PM and 8:30PM on 8/16 and closes on Friday 9/6. All payments must be received by Saturday 9/7. On Sunday 9/8 any team that has not paid will be ejected from the event – no exceptions. Also on 9/8 starting from about 6PM to 6:15PM ET, following the removal of non-paying teams (assuming there are any), registration will be OPENED again for new teams/bots to register. If your team was kicked out for non-payment, you cannot re-register. This 2nd registration period will close on Friday 9/13 with payment due 9/13. At that point, any 2nd round unpaid teams will be ejected and registration will be closed and finalized. There will be no waiting list and any open spots at that point will remain unused.
