MRCA & TNRL Crossover

Event Description

• MRCA and TNRL are excited to come together for this crossover event!
• Tables and chairs will be provided, but bring extension cords if needed. Doors will be open at 8:00 am, competition will start at 9:30 Central time.

• We will be using a 6x6x4 arena made from 1/2in polycarbonate and additional ½ in x12in  poly toe board with seamless steel floor for all classes, with negative pressure and external ventaliation. Unlimited magnets are allowed.
• We do plan to have a food truck on site for lunch, but coolers for food and drinks are welcomed.
• We are setting up registration as a waitlist so that we can make sure to have representation from both groups. 
  • We will have 32 ants, 32 beetles, and 8 fairies
• Henry Horton State Park is about 10 minutes south and has hotels and cabins available if you need a place to stay.   They have a campground as well. Their online registration often shows they are booked, but most times if you call they have availablity.   If you have a camper and want to stay here, please let Jason or Jenna Rogers know ahead of time. 
• This will be a TNRL qualifying event. The top 4 ant weight robots will qualify for the TNRL finals. The finals will be hosted here, tentatively in November.
• We will be running a swiss style competition with four rounds for this event. This will guarantee that everyone gets to compete four times. We will then take the top bots and do a single elimination from there.
