Event Description
ITS ROBOT FIGHTING TIME! The Robot Riot Competition will be held on October 20, 2019 at MakeMIA Makerspace in Doral, FL, hosted by Team Witch Doctor! This will be a Halloween themed event, so we encourage costumes for builders and robots! We will have a special award for best robot costume. Safety inspections and weight check will take place between 10-12pm, so competitors should arrive no later than 11am. Competition starts at 1pm after a lunch break. This event is open to 1lb robots only. Registration fee per robot is $20, paid onsite. Teams MUST register via BuildersDB. Payments will be handled at the event. We will be competing in a 4x4 ft arena. Make sure to bring your robot, charger, controller, and any tools you need to repair your robot.
