Battle Beach LITE

Event Description

Battle Beach is proud to participate in the 2017 Central Florida Scouting Jamboree (CFLSJ) this upcoming December 1-3 at Osceola Heritage Park. This unique event is designed for all of you and your families to have an unparalleled experience. You will be able to participate in activities such as inflatables, a concert Saturday night, interactive exhibits, hands-on opportunities to experience different potential career fields, and more.

150g - $20

3 lb - $25
15 lb - $35 (12 pound bots will be grouped with 15s, the cost is the same)

Event Logistics -

Setup will begin on Friday December 1st. Friday load-in will go from 9 AM to 6 PM. The area will be monitored throughout the day and the gates will be secured overnight.

On Saturday the scouts will be beginning their program at 9:30 AM, so we need to have all the bots through safety and be ready to fight by 10 AM. If you need to load-in equipment, please do so prior to 9 AM.

Sunday will be arena teardown and clean-up.

Competition logistics -

The scouts will only be there from 9:30 until 4:30, so we're going to need to work through the brackets efficiently. Matches MIGHT be 2 minutes long. Have spare batteries.

Bring a LiPo bag (and use it) for charging your batteries.

We will be using the standard SPARC tournament prcedures, match rules, judging guidelines, and robot construction specifications.
Sparc Rules

In the event of a LiPo being ejected from the bot during a match, the fight will be stopped immediately and the bot with the exposed LiPo will forfeit.

The arena will contain a pit and may contain modular arena hazards.


I'm staying a cool hotel for Battle Beach LITE. Water park, Jacuzzi, Bar, Jacuzzi rooms... really close to the venue and only $46 a night! There is a 'resort fee' that includes usage of the water park and a few other things, but I got a great park view room for Friday and Saturday night for about $150 including all fees and taxes... NOT each night, but for two nights!!
