Event Description
SCAR is happy to partner with the Chaffey Joint Union High School District to present the May Plastic Fantastic.
Address: Colony High School Gym 3850 E Riverside Dr, Ontario, CA 91761
There will be two divisions:
1. Educational division is for folks currently enrolled in a K12 program at Chaffey Union. We are expecting a big bracket as Chaffey Union has been promoting this event in schools.
2. Open division. Everyone else. Note, Educational folks can of course fight in the open division or both divisions as they choose.
3. There will be a final 4 bracket single elimination bracket of the top 2 robots in each division going head to head to decide the SCAR Plastic Fantastic Champion.
All are welcome to spectate, and the event is all ages. If you have found registration is full, please email me and we may be able to make space for youYou will need to bring all that you need (tables chairs tools coolers, etc) as there is limited resources at the property. Also, if you have extra needs outside of things mentioned please contact me and we'll see what we can do to address those needs. Power will be run to a dedicated charging table.
This will be a daytime event so plan accordingly. While there will be some partial to full shade feel free to bring easy ups for gaurunteed cover. Bring your own tables and chairs to the event.
Arenas: Educational Class: Colony High School 4'x4' Arena
Open Class: SCAR 4'x6' A Frame Arena.
Rough Schedule:
- 8:00am - Arenas arrive + Arena Assembly
- 8:30am - Registration Begins
- 8:55am - Drivers Meeting
- 9:00am - 4:30pm - Competition
- 4:30-5:00pm - Awards Ceremony
- 5:00- 6:00pm Pack pits and cleanup

Attendees:
- Under 18 must be accompanied by parents or guardians

- Competitors must register before the event to ensure competition slots

- you should contact event organizer about last minuite registrations
- additional registration will be taken in order of wait list
- Please check with event organizers for unique or unusual designs and their application to the linked rulesets
- please read the rules as they have been slightly modified from original sparc ruleset as sparc had guidelined for modified rulesets
Come hang out with veteran and star combat robot builders, get some battles in, and have a nice easy bot bashing saturday!
