Marin Ant Wars

Event Description

Classes: Antweights (1 lb) and UK Antweights (150 gms). Double elimination in all rounds except finals.

Safety/Weigh-In: 9-10:30 am

Matches Begin: 11:00 am

Maximum entries: 32 Antweights, representing no more than 24 separate teams. (8 teams may enter two bots)

Final Qualifier for the 2004 Nationals.

Roy Hellen will be announcing.

No entry fee.

$200 Prize money: $125 for First Place in 1 lb; $75 for Second.
Trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in both Ant and UK Ant classes. (Prize money and trophies to be provided by Team Fatcats)

Pit tables, chairs and possibly umbrellas will be supplied. (Pit space is outdoors)
Venue: Home of the Sauros, 9 Francisco Vista Court, Tiburon, CA.
Arena: 4 foot square with 1/4” Lexan sides and top; Stainless steel floor; One 12” wide x 9” high push-out in which robots drop approximately 20 inches into enclosed Lexan box.

Food and refreshments to be provided by Team Fatcats. Participants welcome to bring their own beverages and barbecue fare.

Participating teams should bring their own extension cords and power strips.
