Event Description
Norwalk Havoc Robot League's 2022 season continues on April 23, 2022! We will be fighting 3lb, 12lb, and 30lb bots, all fighting for a piece of a $4,200 prize pool. We are also accepting registrations for 12lb Sportsmen, but we will only fight them if we have enough of them registered.
Builders
This event is open to all builders of any experience level! We love seeing first-time builders attend.
Have a crazy idea for a bot? Great! We would love to see it fight!
NHRL has no cap on registration. We are updating our facilities to accomodate a large number of registrants. We will now have three 3lb cages and two 30lb cages to fight in. These cages are all extremely tough and durable, and are outfitted with a negative pressure system to deal with fires and fumes inside the box.
New for 2022: we are asking all participating builders to pay a $25 registration per bot, which will be refunded when your bot (or bots) pass safety. The registration deadline is Saturday, April 9.
We've also expanded our pit area, and we're adding a dedicated viewing area to watch the stream while you're in the pits.
Check out the list of registered bots!
Spectators
We are also open to the public, and our events are very spectator-friendly! We will have food trucks, lounge areas, activities, and a special cage where you can drive one of our house robots around.
We've added seating around the cages and moved them closer to the action, so you can have an even better view.
One of our cages will be a "walk-around" cage, where you can get up close and personal with the action.
Check out our Bot Museum, where you'll get to meet some 250lb bots, like Ribbot, SMEEEEEEEE, Pain Train, War? EZ!, and Sharko.
If you can't attend in-person, you can watch our YouTube stream on the day of the event!
Crew
We're currently hiring paid staff to help us work our April event! Please email hello@nhrl.io for more information.
