Please be aware of the following update regarding the November 26th/27th tournament.
We will be extending early registration due to changes in insurance requirements. To make a long story short, limits were required by insurance resulting in our usage of the 2003 RFL tech regs and the resulting limits on spinning weapons. With the recent addition of the Feather weight division we did not feel that these limits needed to be enforced on FW bots. The insurance carrier disagreed. We have changed insurance carriers. Thus, the 2004 RFL technical regulations will be in effect.....and the limits imposed by the 2003 RFL tech regs have been lifted. Because we were required to use the 2003 technical regs, we believe some competitors did not show interest that otherwise might have. To give a fair opportunity for these competitors to register for the November tournament early registration is being extended by 10 days. Early registration will close on October 20th 2004. Regular registration fees with then be in effect until registration is closed on November 12th 2004. We apologize to any builders who have modified or built bots to stay within the limits imposed and for any competitive disadvantages we may have caused. With 6 weeks till the tournament we hope that competitors will understand how our circumstances have changed.

For competitors who decide to mail in their entry, the cut off date is based upon the date on which your entry was post marked.
NOTE: $20 CDN will be refunded for each combat robot passing technical/safety inspection.
