Combat Robotics @ the Ohio State Fair

Event Description

The NRC and EduEverything, Inc. is sponsoring a Combat Robot event at the 2019 Ohio State Fair on Saturday, August 3rd. Registration for the event is $25 per robot. The event will follow the Combat Robot rules from the 2019 National Robotics Challenge. (thenrc.org) However, unlike the NRC event this event is open to any age builder. Tournament Structure: The goal of our events are to have fun, learn, and engage spectators. We always structure our events to maximize the opportunities builders have to see their robot(s) running. Classes with 6 or less robots will fight round robin. Classes with more than 6 robots will either be split into round robin pools or will fight an initial "seeding" match before being placed into a double elimination bracket.
