Event Description
This is the Santa Rosa Junior Colleges open house. Every club, organization and department displays the student’s hard work over the year.The SRJC Robotics Club is holding a tournament. The tournament will be double elimination for combat classes if we have fewer then 32 entries, it will be round-robin if we have fewer then five.
The fee is $10 per Antweight or Beetleweight combat robot, $5 for Fleaweight, and Free for Auto-Ant and Auto-Beetle.
Winners will get choice of prize.
The arena is a hexagon with a 6 foot minor diameter. The floor is made of aluminum.
We will be holding the toumament at Santa Rosa Junior College, 1501 Mendocino Ave, Santa Rosa, CA 95401. The campus location will be the Tauzer Gym, building number 9 on this map: Campus Map.
Check in will be 8:30 am to 10:30 am. Fights begin at 11:00 am.
There will also be a Lego robotics competition of Woots and Snarks with prizes thus far as follows:
1st: Lego Mindstorms NXT kit
2nd: Lego Pneumatic Submarine kit
3rd: USB Bluetooth Dongle
