Event Description

Perform in front of thousands of screaming fans at the largest tourism destination in the world.
The Mall of America, Synergy Robotics Entertainment and the CRCA are proud to announce “Rotunda Rumble”, an event that is sure to make every builder a celebrity. Rotunda Rumble will feature multiple weight classes in both the STUDENT and PROFESSIONAL leagues and offers easy airport access, great hotel rates for teams, low registration fees and prizes, PLUS the entertaining atmosphere of the MALL OF AMERICA and the NEW Nickelodeon Theme Park. No matter what program you are part of you can compete at this once in a lifetime event and join the fun.

WEIGHT CLASSES:
The main event will run 150gram, Ant (1lb), Beetle (3lb), Hobbyweight (12 lb), 15lb and Featherweight (30lb) classes.

April 25th: Checkin / Safety 10:00 - 4:00 All weight classes
April 25th: 4:00pm - 7:00 pm 12lb 30 lb Competition
April 26th: 8:00am - 10:00 am Check-in/Safety for 15lb
8:00 am - noon 150g, 1lb 3lb Check-in/Safety
10:00am - 7:00pm 12lb,15lb 30lb Competition
noon - 7:00 pm 150g, 1lb 3lb Competition
April 27: 10:00am - 4:00pm 12lb, 15lb 30lb Competition
No 150g, 1lb or 3lb Competition on Sunday.

12 lb	$35 if registered and paid by 12-31-07, $55 after 12-31-07
30 lb	$45 if registered and paid by 12-31-07, $65 after 12-31-07

PIT CREW LIMITS:
Only 2 allowed in the Pit Crew

TECHNICAL REGULATIONS:
150g, 1lb, 3lb, 12lb 30lb Classes will use the RFL Rules
15lb will use Bots IQ Rules

MATCH FORMAT:
Will be determined by the number of robots that register. Right now we are strongly considering a double elimination tournament with single elimination in the finals. Matches will be 3 minutes.

PRIZES:
Student 15lb Class:
$2,500 in merchandise for 1st Place
Trophies to 1st, 2nd 3rd Place

Pro 12lb 30lb Class:
$500 to 1st Place
Trophies to 1st, 2nd 3rd Place
