Both brackets will run at the same time taking turns, with finals and awards at the end of the event.
๐ง Combat Rules (SPARC.IO Standard)
All robots must follow SPARC.IO rules and Hewitt safety protocols. To ensure fairness and safety:
โ STRICTLY PROHIBITED WEAPON TYPES

Overhead attacks (hammer-saws mechanism) Note: Hammers are allowed

Flamethrowers or fire-based systems

Tasers, stun weapons, or high-voltage discharge

Radio jamming or signal interference

Entanglement weapons (ropes, nets, wires, adhesives, foams, tethers, or anything designed to immobilize a robot)
Robots using any banned system will not be allowed to compete.
๐ก๏ธ Safety & Inspection
All robots must pass a mandatory inspection before entering the arena:
โ๏ธ Weapon failsafe must function properly โ๏ธ Drive system must failsafe โ๏ธ Battery must be enclosed and undamaged โ๏ธ All sharp or exposed components must be shielded in the pit โ๏ธ Transport locks must be used when moving the robot
Robots that fail inspection cannot compete until corrected.
๐โจ High Fashion Robot Contest
New York robotics deserves runway-level style.
In addition to combat brackets, we will host a High Fashion Bot Showcase:
๐ Dress your robot in the most stylish, ridiculous, elegant, or artistic outfit. ๐ Fashion elements must be cosmetic only (no weapon activation). ๐ท Robots will be displayed and judged for creativity, design, and presentation.
The winning robot will receive a special event award.
