We offer an exciting combat robot event where creativity, engineering, and strategy collide. Participants design and build their own robots to battle in thrilling head-to-head matches. Whether you're a seasoned competitor or a newcomer, This event offers a dynamic and engaging experience for all skill levels, with a focus on innovation, sportsmanship, and, of course, fun! Join us for a day of intense competition, learning, and community at InfinityCon.

InfinityCon focuses on artists and creators of major and independent comic books, video & tabletop gaming, anime, with events & entertainment for all ages scheduled throughout the weekend. We create a place where attendees can shop, learn, be entertained, and come together to celebrate the pop culture they love. We aim to entertain & inspire dreamers and creators of all ages!

Friday
- early safety and table setup between 3pm and 6pm*
Saturday - September 28th
- Open for Builders - 9am
- General Audience 10am to 6pm
Sunday - September 29th
- Open for Builders - 9am
- General Audience 10am to 5pm
Tickets to InfinityCon
Each team will receive up to a maximum of 6 entries to InfinityCon Gainesville included with their robot registration fee. This is a 2-day ticket for the 2-day InfinityCon event.
- 1 Robot = up to 3 InfinityCon Tickets (example: child + parents)
- 2 Robots = up to 4 InfinityCon Tickets
- 3 Robots = up to 6 InfinityCon Tickets
Each team must provide the name and email address for all those needing tickets, a week before the event. Tickets to InfinityCon are emailed. If you do not provide the name and email before the deadline you may have to purchase InfinityCon tickets, so please make sure to include everyone ahead of time.

While convention passes will be available day-of the event, tournament Registration ends on Sunday, September 22nd at 11:59PM EDT.
Keep in mind that tickets are non-refundable, as described on the convention's website linked above.

- Plastic Ants: 1 Pound
- Ant: 1 Pound
- Beetle: 3 Pound
Entry Limits, Requirements and Fees:
- Registration: $25 per bot. Payment Due September 6th. After that date unpaid teams are waitlisted to promote paid teams and provide ample time for travel arrangements.
- Entry Limits: Maximum 4 bots per team. No more than 2 bots per class, per team. Bots within the same class must have different drivers.
Rules
- SPARC ruleset with the following points of emphasis:
- NO FIRE WEAPONS
- Active Weapons Preferred
- Pit: No Pit
- Plastic Ant Specs:
- SPARC Plastic Classes Rules 4.4
- the Spirit of this class is to be 3D printed
- PET, PETG, ABS, PLA, or PLA+ are the only materials that can be used for the chassis and weapons
- PLA Pro styles are allowed such as PolyMax PLA
- No nylons
- No blends (CF, Glass etc)
- No TPU or metal etc.
- No Billit or Blocks of Material that is then machined (ABS, ect.)
- Motion: Battlebots rules, if you're moving it's motion so either tap out or your opponent is obligated to annihilate you.
- Exposed batteries are automatic forfeits (protect the guts!)
- One postponement
- Unsticks at the referee's discretion. Generally speaking there are no unsticks unless the bots are stuck together.
- Tap Outs are allowed
- Match length: 2 minutes
- Double Elimination with a single final.
- Most Important Rule - **HAVE FUN**

VOLUNTEERS: Yes, please! Build Fight Fun! Events are a program of the Boatright-Heston Foundation Inc, a 501(c)(3) non-profit created to foster and promote STEM related activities. Anyone who has time to give is welcome to help. There are roles for everyone, robot knowledge is not required. We need as many volunteers as possible to keep the event running. And remember, even a 4 hour shift grants you free entry to InfinityCon so why not get a behind the scenes experience and free entry!!
