Event Description
Bot Count Limit
Limit of 2 bots, per driver, per weight class.
Rules
ARC uses the SPARC Ruleset along with the following ammendments for its competitions:
- No use of fire or flame weapons
- Magnets may be used for additional downforce on the steel floor but not for any other reason
- In the case of both robots being stuck together and unable to sepperate, there will be 1 seperation per match
- NEW - HexBug toys are forbidden since their control systems do not work inside of our arena
- Plastic Ant Rules: Western Allied Robotics Plastic Class Rules
- While most plastic ants are expected to be 3d printed, you may enter a modified toy, rc car, etc as long as it is still legal under the SPARC ruleset mentioned above AND YOU HAVE RECEIVED PERMISSION TO DO SO. Email or message David@AzRoboticCombat.com with photos and details of your toy entry.
- Walkers:
- Shufflers will receive a 50% weight bonus
- Shuffler fairies would be 225 grams
- Shuffler ants/plastics would be 1.5lbs
- Shuffler beetles would be 4.5lbs
- Walkers will recieve a 100%* weight bonus
- Walker fairies would be 300 grams
- Walker ants would be 2lbs
- Walker beetles will only receive a 66.66% weight bonus which would make them 5lbs.
- Shufflers will receive a 50% weight bonus

Format
Brackets will be double elemination unless there are less than 7 robots registered, otherwise the bracket will be round-robin.
We will have 2 arenas at this event, listed below are the details about each one and the weight classes that will fight in them.
The ARC Arena
- Antweights and Beetleweights
- Pit that opens during the last minute of the fight
- Magnetic steel floor
The ASU Robotics Club Arena
- Fairyweights and Plastic Ants
- Magnetic steel floor
- No pit
Venue
We'll be switching venues for this event. ARC RoboRumble will now take place at Arizona State University's Tooker E-Space. Parking is free on weekends, the closest lots would be the "ASU Stadium Parking Structure" and "Lot 50E" (See Map)
