General Info

Weightclass: 150g, 1lb, and 1lb plastic

Location: Hidden Vineyards - 5705-5711 N Tyler Rd, Maize, KS 67101

Date: August 2nd, 2025

Start Time: 10:00 AM EST

End Time: 6:00 PM EST

Entry Fee:
150g - $10 / 1lb Plastic Antweight - $15 / Full Combat Antweight - $20

What To Bring:

• Power strip, weapon lock, safety glasses - there are plenty of tables and chairs

Robots: 

• Robots must meet the SPARC Robot Construction Specifications.  In addition, no fire weapons or ICE (Internal Combustion Engines). 
• A LiPo charging bag must be used when charging your batteries. 
• Weapon locks and sharp edge covers must be used while the bot is outside of the arena.

Event Details:

• Regular antweight will run double-elimination
• Teams who still want to fight after all matches are over will be allowed to participate in grudge matches if there is extra time

Attendees:

• Under 18 must be accompanied by teacher, coach, parents or guardians. 
• Anyone welcome to attend
• Competitors must register before the event to ensure competition slots

• The arena is 8ftx8ftx2ft
• Walls are 0.25″ polycarbonate 24″x48″
• double pannel wood floor - we will do our best to minimize the seam
• Side door access

150g arena

• The arena is 4ftx4ftx2ft
• Has pits, will take votes at the event whether to use them or not

Rough Schedule: 

8:00 - Doors open and check in and Safety begins

9:30 - Safety Ends, must pass safety to be in plastic ants tournament

9:45 - Drivers meeting, bracket created

10:00 - Fights begin with round 1

12:00 – Break for lunch no lunch provided.

12:45 - Fighting resumes

18:00 latest estimated wrap up time
