Event Description
Hard to believe it, but Robot Battles will be continuing our fourth decade of robotic combat where it all started for us back in 1991: the Dragon Con convention in Atlanta, Georgia over the Labor Day Weekend of 2023!
Microbattles will be on Sunday morning at 10:00 in the Hyatt International Ballroom (load-in for builders at 8:30) featuring the one and three pound bots in our newly refurbished and updated combat arenas.
The main Robot Battles will be on Monday morning at 11:00 in the Hyatt Regency Ballroom (load-in for builders at 9:00) featuring the twelve and thirty pound bots.
As always, builder check-in and registration will be handled on site the morning of each event. The bracket format for each event will be decided at that time based on the number of entries (single elimination, double elimination, or round-robin).
One-day passes will be available for both Sunday and Monday for those who cannot attend the entire weekend. You do need a Dragon Con badge in order to attend or compete in the event, but that also gets you into all the rest of the con, which is fun!
We are looking forward to another exciting and eventful Robot Battles, and we hope to see you there!
