Event Description
Arena 150g (Fairy) and Plastic Ant 4' x4' arena, wood floor, push out box, with a .5-1" lip (hasn't been determied yet)

Other categories may be added (standard ant, sportman beetle), provided there is time to complete the large arena leading up to the event.

Weapons need a weapon safety lock. Lipo Batteries need to manage and stored properly. The arena(s) will be located in the main shop area with access to a bay door in the event of a lipo fire. Stream details will be hosted on https://twitch.tv/teamd20bots
Requirements for all attendees:
- Please do not attend if you are experiencing COVID symptoms or have reason to believe you are infected.
- This will be a builders only event. There will not be enough room for spectators.
Midsouth Maker's Precautions:
- You will need to sign a waiver for each person on your team (minors included) https://rfid.midsouthmakers.org/sign-waiver
- The shop space will not be available without concent of a Midsouth Makers board member.
- More details as we get closer to the event.
Tournament Rules
- Following SPARC general rules
- Plastic Ants: Weapons and Chassis must be 3D printed. For example you will not be permitted to use a weapon that is milled out of a solid block of ABS or any other permitted materials (if you have questions, please ask).
- NOTE: there will be no unstick, and the arena walls drop below the floor level.
- Rage Pitting ... if both bots go into the pit at the same time ... the judges will determine the aggressor. The judges decision is final.
- The Judges decision is final and not negotiable.
- Tournament structure Anty Up!! You will be supplied with 3 chips per bot when you arrive. Chips will be color coded for weightclass, and there will be the option for puchasing additional chips (one at a time) for a $1 donation to the Midsouth Makers. Whoever has the most chips at the end will be the winner in each weightclass. If there are ties, a one match play-off will be used to determin final placing.
