Event Description
Mech Tech Battlebots tournament, hosted by the FRC team Mech Tech 3959. This will be the first tournament hosted by Mech Tech primarily competing with Fairyweight bots, with the possibility of Plastic Antweight class as well. 150g Fairy - Any materials allowed. Will be weight tested. 1lb Plastic Ants - PET, PETG, ABS, PLA, or PLA+ are the only materials allowed for the plastic Antweight class. Other materials are allowed to be used ONLY for features that do not armor or enhance the chassis or the weapon. Contact the event organizer ahead of time for any clarification that may be needed. All entry fees go towards the Mech Tech Robotics Team. Event information: Brewer High School - 59 Eva Rd, Somerville, AL 35670, enter from front double doors. Payment is due at check-in. Snacks will be sold as well. All spectators are encouraged to come in and support the builders.
